You will need the following ingredients: half cup of lemon juice and half cup of cream of tartar. And then mix the two ingredients together and using a soft cloth applies on stained area. Go in circular motion and don’t use too much pressure. After you’re finished cleaning apply conditioner and buff the area. You’ll also need a spray bottle where to pour and shake the ingredients before use. Make sure you remove all the excess conditioner by thoroughly buffing the sofa with a soft cloth.

Other ways of cleaning aside from the commercial cleaning solvents there are some alternatives to the recipes, such as saddle soap, rubbing alcohol, hair spray and toothpaste. DIY cleaning solutions can be good, but sometimes they're not quite as good as they seem. You should be careful and reduce the use of Olive oil for leather. Olive oil, and every oily substance for that matter, will not nourish your leather, but actually accelerate its deterioration.

Leather is extremely permeable, and will soak up any oils you put on it. When oil first saturates leather, it seeps to the back-to the part you can't see. Eventually, the oil ends up spreading throughout the leather and naturally resurfaces. Once this happens, your leather will have unsightly oil spots. Leather cleaning can cost a lot of patient and you can not be too careful when cleaning it. Sometimes, an antibacterial spray can be also helpful and you can have a try.
